

MATCH Hospitality and IFEMA MADRID sign exclusive agreement for VIP areas at the Spanish Grand Prix 2026-2035

Madrid aims to become the leading reference in the championship by offering an unparalleled fan experience.
The collaborative agreement between both entities includes a €400 million investment over ten years for the construction, setup, management, and commercialisation of the event's VIP areas.
IFEMA MADRID and MATCH Hospitality have agreed to join forces for the exclusive management and commercialisation of the VIP and hospitality areas at the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix, set to take place in Madrid from 2026 to 2035.
This strategic partnership, which includes MATCH Hospitality’s commitment to invest €400 million in the development of premium VIP areas for the event, encompasses the hospitality strategy and product definition, the global commercialisation of exclusive packages and experiences, and the production of high-end spaces and premium services.

IFEMA MADRID selected MATCH Hospitality for its outstanding track record in delivering hospitality solutions for major global sporting events, including the FIFA World Cups in Qatar 2022 and Australia & New Zealand 2023, the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, the MotoGP British Grand Prix, and the ATP Finals in London. Since 2019, MATCH Hospitality has exclusively managed hospitality programmes for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, achieving significant success, including tripling customer engagement for its premium packages.

This collaboration combines MATCH Hospitality's extensive expertise in sports event hospitality with IFEMA MADRID's proven capabilities as a premier event organiser. IFEMA MADRID has hosted globally significant events, such as COP 25 and the NATO General Assembly in 2022, and manages internationally renowned fairs, including FITUR, ARCO, and FRUIT ATTRACTION. Together, the two organisations aim to establish the Spanish F1 Grand Prix as a standout event on the global Formula 1 calendar, particularly within Europe.
